Who We Are
Run For The Dogs, Association is a chartered Guide Dogs Of America, Washington Chapter committed to raising funds for Guide Dogs of America (GDA) an International Guiding Eyes Program. We are a group of individuals that have come together from the, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 160 and various clubs & organizations for the sole purpose of organizing fundraisers to benefit GDA. Throughout the year we put together a variety of fundraisers and events, then at the end of the year all proceeds are turned over to GDA. It is through organizations and individuals like us that GDA is able to provide blind individuals with the independence and quality of life that the rest of us enjoy. We can not begin to tell you how rewarding it is when a blind person receives their first dog and to see the bond created between them.
Our Mission Statement
We endeavor to grow from year to year in our pursuit to raise funds for Guide Dogs Of America, enabling them to continue providing Guide Dogs to the blind at no charge to the individual, in order to enhance their sense of independence and quality of life.
