
If you are unable to attend the run or just wish to put out an extra effort for Guide Dogs Of America, Run For The Dogs would like to invite you to collect pledges in support of the event.
Since June of 1999, we have put together a motorcycle run called "Run For The Dogs", with each and every year we have grown tremendously and are growing in popularity with each years event. With your help, this year will be even bigger and better.
Through all of our efforts we can give birth to a wonderful and lasting relationship between a guide dog and a blind person. It costs $38,000 to breed, raise, train and care for a guide dog for life and it is our goal that we will be able to fully sponsor a guide dog team this year. By collecting pledges in support of this event you can play a big part in accomplishing this goal.
Remember to ask friends, family and work acquaintances to make a pledge. With just 10 people collecting 10 pledges at $10.00 each, that would be another $1000.00 for Guide Dogs Of America. Challenge your friends, family and co-works to a competition on who can collect the most pledges and this $1000.00 can multiply even more. You could even approach your employer and ask if they will match your total pledges dollar for dollar.
Don't forget to remind your sponsors that their donation is tax deductible and that their canceled check serves as their receipt. All individual pledges of $250 or more will receive a separate receipt for tax purposes.

Will get you free registration to Run For The Dogs. (If you pre-register and pay your $25.00 pre-registration fee and turn in a minimum of $100 in pledges on the day of the event, your pre-registration fee will be refunded. Just check the appropriate box on your run pre-registration indicating that you will be participating in the pledge program and send in with your $25.00.)
$200 Total Pledges Collected
Will get you free registration to Run For The Dogs and a Run For The Dogs T-shirt. (If you pre-register and pay your $25.00 pre-registration fee and turn in a minimum of $100 in pledges on the day of the event, your pre-registration fee will be refunded. Just check the appropriate box on your run pre-registration indicating that you will be participating in the pledge program and send in with your $25.00.)
The participant with the largest $ amount of Pledge donations collected and turned in by the event (July 8, 2006) will receive a Run For The Dogs Jacket.
The MC & Car Club with the largest $ amount of Pledge donations collected and turned in by the event (July 8, 2006) will receive a plaque award in recognition for their efforts.
